CELEBRATING 30 YEARS IN BUSINESS

Just as the New Year causes us to reflect on what has passed and what is to come, today my thoughts focus on Art Experience as we begin our 30th year of providing you with fine artwork and quality framing.

I think fondly of the many 2011 special events which Art Experience hosted. I also think of the many events in which Art Experience participated. A fabulous Artwalk organized by the Hampton Arts Network, the beautiful Christmas Tree Lighting sponsored by the Hampton Parks and Recreation Department, and of course the Christmas Parade organized by Experience Hampton highlighted a year filled with new and exciting adventures.

 

Exciting Events at Art Experience in 2012

As I look forward to 2012, I can assure you it will only get better. Artist receptions are planned, framing and decorating with art workshops will be offered, and each month there will be special events to commemorate our 30 years in business. I will make 2012 will be the best year ever for Art Experience…that’s my New Year’s Resolution!

 

Off the Wall Sale

This year make a resolution you can keep! Buy new art for your home! Let us help you with our 30th Annual Off the Wall Sale, January 26 – February 4. Many framed and unframed prints, picture lights, books, cards and photographs will be on sale. If you are tired of looking at the same framed images day after day, the Off the Wall Sale is a great way to update the art on your walls while saving money.

 
Silent Auction

We are also bringing back our very popular Silent Auction. Come in and bid on several framed pieces. The item will go to the highest bidder, who will be notified on the last day of the sale. This year 10% of the proceeds from the Silent Auction will be donated to the Hampton Arts Network to help this organization continue to support the arts and artists in Hampton.

 

“Blue Comet,” one of the many images in the Silent Auction, is a Giclee Limited Edition print by internationally renowned artist Peter Skuthorpe. Beautifully framed, this print retails for $195.00.  The opening bid is set at $75.00.  You can decide how much you would like to pay for this print with your bid.

 

 

 
Raffle to Support the NHSPCA in Stratham

 

 

We also have a number of raffle items. A $3 donation to benefit the Foster Cat program at the NHSPCA in Stratham will give you the opportunity to win great prizes. The book Hansel & Gretel is a sample of the many items in our raffle. Will Moses beautifully illustrated this classic cautionary tale, which brings home some life lessons we all need to be aware of from time to time.
